 That's not how a GMs mind work's. Ainge just proved with the Thomas Crowder Bradley moves he's not afraid of hurting players or fans feelings.

He’s also not about actively making the team worse while alienating his coach and future free agents.

Let's put it this way.  Even if Hayward demanded a trade and said he would only go to the Lakers and if not traded just wouldn't play at all.  Boston still would not make that trade.

After seeing the kids play, I don't think we need Hayward. I was never all that impressed by him anyway.

You mean Brown+Tatum > Hayward, or each one individually better than Hayward?

Still WAY too early to tell, even though I'm loving Brown and Tatum a ton so far.

Thing is Hayward is also one of the better defenders in the league too (underrated) and both Brown/Tatum still have to get better there (which they have been improving so far).
