Hey guys! Been out so just tuning in now. How's it look for the C's?

Even if it's preseason, still really hope it goes better for them than it did the Red Sox.. 

Thread says it all.  So far, this team dos not struggle to score, as they often did last year. Not playing cohesively yet, but the potential is there.

Good team ainge was assembled.

They are playing pretty well.  A bit disjointed on offense, but showing signs.  Def play has been good despite philly hitting a lot of tough 3s.

Philly really hitting 3's at a rate that is keeping them in the game.


I'd like to see a Kyrie and Hayward blend better on offense.

Yeah KI and GH might take a bit to gel completely.  We look a bit out of sorts on our plays right now and it is too be expected.  Eventually Brown is going to be seeing a lot of open shots from everyone trying to watch KI and GH.

Yep.  Timing in our half court sets is not good.  To be expected.  We're not getting anything easy.  Credit to the Sixers who are scrappy.  No more easy wins win Philly.  Nice vet additions they made.

Smart looked great in first half.
Hayward starting to get comfortable. What a great passer.
Brown starting to get more involved. He can take anyone in single coverage.
Kyrie struggling.

Weapons all over the place.  It seems this is going to be a team that doesn't need to rely on the same player(s) scoring every night.  Unlike last year, there are multiple guys who can reliably pick up slack. 

Can't wait to see this team come together.  Must feel like Christmas every day for Stevens.

I'm dubious of Jaylen starting with this roster.  His awareness and decision-making isn't there.  He's a freak athlete and attacks with the ball nicely, but not really what we need with Kyrie and Hayward.  I do like Smart with the 2nd unit though.  Interested to see what Brad does.

Yeah, he's getting quite a few wide open jumpers that just aren't going in. He's clearly still getting used to the offense.

Wow, Simmons' shot is broken. His feet weren't even pointing toward the basket on those free throws.

I would like to see Brown on Simmons a bit more...he played good D there.
He is athletic and strong enough to guard Simmons.

I think that's exactly why you start Brown with those guys. he doesn't have to make decisions or handle the ball with Irving, Hayward or horfrod on the floor. Shoot from the corners, defend the wing, and attack close outs.
