Nice interview here where Danny touches on the state of the team and the new acquisitions.  He reflects on separating from IT and talks about how it was "one of the most difficult conversations" in his life.  Ainge also says it'll be "the happiest day of his life" if IT makes a full recovery and keeps playing like he did last year.  It's nice to see the appreciation.

Check out Danny at 10:46; a bit of a Freudian slip perhaps?  Pretty funny he says DeMarcus.  Seems maybe someone's been talking about Cousins quite a bit.

I think he just the "the Marcus (stutter) Marcus Morris trade".

I like that he focuses on what Hayward and Irving gave up to come here, to do that shows they are excited to be joining.

Also, this might be seeing things that aren't there, it was interesting to see Danny note Avery and Isaiah's departures in a much more emotional tone than Jaes. Understandable given the contributions but perhaps he always saw Crowder as a filler.

Definitely agree with him in wishing IT the fullest recovery!

Ahh yeah good point he does say "the the Marcus" trade.  It sounded like Demarcus the first time.  And yeah I thought that was interesting that he left out Jae twice when mentioning trading IT and Avery.
