I can't tell if Dwayne Johnson is a bad actor, with a stilted delivery, or if he is accurately portraying the sort of person who has few pursuits outside of sports.

Can anyone who has spent time with professional athletes shed light on what they are like as people? It seems like they have to work hard to be totally phony with the media, and then work hard at the gym all day. That's admirable, but what is there to say about it?

I stopped watching that show after the first season because of how horrible the acting is. I prefer VEEP and Silicon Valley.
