ESPN usually destroys any person with even a whiff of racism attached to them.

Lavar Ball makes blatantly racist statements and ESPN treats him like a rock star.

What racist things did he say that offended you?
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

You remember when he said UCLA lost because they had too many slow white guys, right?  And there was very sexist "stay in yo lane" comment to the female, which he then ran with and made "stay in yo lane " tshirts for the whole family.

I don't hate him yet but I greatly prefer Tatum's mom

Eja - I was staying at the Westgate hotel and ran into Tatum's Mom last night. She was wearing his #11 jersey and was coming back from the game (like we were). I went right up to her and asked her if she would take a pic with my girlfriend. She was an absolute sweetheart and even cracked a joke when we ran into her at Benihana's later on. Having trouble posting the picture to this post, but I will try again later.

media's fault.  ESPN's fault.  Shamefully trying for ratings at expense of young player.  Lavar bears responsibility too, but the ESPN is a crap network through and through.  No values...just a bunch of crass sarcastic not funny wanna be comedians.

During pregame it was about 22 minutes of Lonzo and Lavar, and then Tatum = PP for about 30 seconds.  ESPN either trying to create another "star" or their talking heads don't prepare much for games.  Or both.

Of course, its the Fake Angeles Fakers who is all about lights, camera, action and hollywood. For ESPN, that is more important than commentating a basketball game where TWO teams are actually playing in.
Let's Go Celtics!!

  • GOT IT!!!
I""M gonna be really mad at espn if they show the lakers as much if not more than the celtics national games on tv this season.

Lakers always have a ton of national games regardless of their record.
