6. Thunder
7. T-Wolves
8. Wizards
9. Bucks
10. Nuggets
11. Raptors
12. Clippers
13. Pelicans
14. Trailblazers
15. Heat

25.Magic
26. Suns
27. Pacers
28. Hawks
29. Nets
30. Bulls

Kinda sucks that the Lakers probably aren't going to have a bottom 5 record.

I saw a power ranking with the Lakers at 20 but they were the 3rd worst in the West.  All the bad teams in the East are going to play each other 3 or 4 times while the Lakers only get to play them twice.  They could easily finish bottom 5 with all the strong teams in the West.

What have the Lakers done that makes anyone think they have gotten any better from last year?
They are still a very bad team.

The other day on the site I saw Celtic's were top 4. Regardless these mean nothing, play the games.

Like someone else said Lakers are still going to suck they have to play a stacked western conference.

I'm not sure he Rockets are going to be that great. I don't know how Harden will react to not having the ball in his hands all the time. Harden has an ego the size of Texas.

1 GSW
2 CLE
3 BOS

This is probably right for now, but I could see these additions plus regression from Cleveland push us past them this season.

I'll go:

1. GSW
2A. CLE
2B. BOS
4A. SAS
4B. HOU
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Boston would be a 4 seed in the West, maybe 5. Stop with this.

I'd still pick the Spurs and (maybe) Rockets along with CLE/GSW over the Celtics, for now at least.

They are still a very bad team.

They did acquire Brook Lopez When Healthy, he's not bad.

  • GOT IT!!!
The Wolves are way too high on that list. They have to prove it first. Still suspect on defense and as good as Butler is he still only carried Chicago to a 8th seed last year in the East.

Harden and CP3 both need the ball to play their games, good luck with that Houston...

Don't look now but a starting 5 of

Jeremy Lin
DeAngelo Russell
DeMarre Carroll
Mosgov
Rhonde Hollis Jefferson

with backups of
Joe Harris
Sean Kilpatrick
Chris LaVert
Trevor Booker
Spencer Dinwiddie

isn't the worst team of all time by any means, especially in the East

Add a free agent.....if that team stays healthy...and others don't....getting mildly nervous

It reminds me of the Pacers last year. Everyone was ready to put them in the top 3 in the East before they even proved that they could play together.

And what do you know, they couldn't. Minnesota should definitely be better than they were last year, but they're still in the tougher conference and are extremely young. If I were a gambling man I'd take the under on their projected win total
I'm bitter.
