Danny is a genius.
And we have an extra first round pick next year or the year after out of the Philly trade.

I like brown.  I really do.  But he has a ways to go to become a good player.  Right now he's all flash and potential.

I certainly remember when everyone was whining about trading away the number one pick and the chance at greatness for guaranteed mediocrity.

So far, so good, Jayson.  I know it's only summer league, but that was a pretty good opening statement by our guy.

Brown will beat out Crowder this season imo

I wanted Fultz, but Tatum was my second choice. I was more afraid of trading it for Butler or drafting Jackson.

agreed. Crowder has stunted. unless he shows sth new, hes basically our very good role player.

I've been high on Brown since the beginning, but he's got a long way to go before being a good starter. Tatum has great potential, but is a complete unknown against NBA competition.

I'm still not sold on Brown. It's good that he can dominate in transition vs SL defense, but his instincts in the half court aren't nearly where they should be.

On the other hand, all early signs point to Tatum being a baller. PP comps tough to avoid.
