Very simple poll question.  Cast your votes now!  Do you think when the Celtics swing for the fences and roll out the red carpet, that at the end of the day, Gordon Hayward will sign with us?

YES or NO!!  Speak with your votes!!

No. I believe he goes to Miami after being sold that he will be the face of the franchise and star.

Yes -- Hayward leaves Utah to win a Championship. Boston the only one with a clear path to achieving that.

Does Hayward want to live it up in South Beach or does he want to reunite with his former coach in Brad Stevens?  I think there's some comfort factor involved there.  It all depends on what Hayward values.

Does he want to bring up a hurting Heat team that need more firepower?  Or does he want to add on to what could end up being a championship contender in Boston who has already made the ECF just last year?

It all depends on who can win over Hayward's heart and mind.  Will his final decision be Boston?!  You guys vote the outcome!  And we'll see in a few days who was right!

With all the craziness happening right now, who knows.

But I will say, the West just got even tougher somehow.

Minnesota just added to really good players and it's likely Wiggins and KAT take another leap forward.

Houston presumably got better.

OKC just got better.

Maybe even New Orleans puts it together (doubt it).

If all Utah Does is add Ricky Rubio, I like our chances. Utah isn't going through the West anytime soon. Miami just isn't that good. Speaking of Miami, unless Gordon cares most about lifestyle like weather and partying, he won't go there. If he cares about money, he stays in Utah. If he cares about his legacy, he comes to Boston.

That said, who knows.

He's coming. No way Gordy passes on the chance to be the beloved, great white hype in Beantown.

I'm pretty pessimistic. If I was in Hayward's shoes, I'd be questioning Danny's commitment to immediately upgrading the team. He's passed three times now.

I've always believed the most likely outcome is he goes back to Utah.

People talk up the Brad connection, but that was college.  He's a different player now.  That connection is why he'll give the Celts a chance to pitch him, but I think he's staying in Utah with Gobert, Hood, Rubio, etc.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
