This, to me, was the most reassuring quote from Ainge's recent interview. (The more-discussed quote is that they will "very likely" take the same player #3 that they would have #1). He mentioned Stevens in particular as someone who was on board with the trade. Ainge probably would not have said this if it wasn't true, so I find it rather reassuring. I have had my doubts about Ainge's talent evaluation, but Stevens's opinion I genuinely respect.

I'm not second-guessing a decision that Stevens was on board with.

No way of telling if this is true or not, but it's hard to disagree with a decision that Danny Ainge, Mike Zarren, and Brad Stevens all agreed upon.
