So if Fultz becomes the next great player and Jackson or Tatum become mildly good and we trade for like a Jimmy B but we don't win in the finals...and meanwhile Fultz is in Philly leading them to the playoffs....he gets fired right?

I mean this has to work out and not backfire at all or he gets fired right?

Absoutely not ... not with top record in East in 2017, 3 1st round picks in '18, 3 picks in 1st round in '19, 1 1st round pick in '20, and 2 first round picks in '21.

If Fultz becomes a stud and we draft a dud than I'd say his job is in jeopardy.

I don't know about fired, but Wyc and the ownership group needs to do some sort of an Intervention.

We're still positioned to land the #1 pick for 2018, and that class could be insane as well, and that's on Danny. That alone should get him enough leeway for mistakes, but if this goes bad, something has to happen. Someone has to tell Danny that at some point, it's good to just take the star that is being offered on a silver plate instead of making it complicated. And his room for mistakes should be smaller at this point.

On the other hand, if this goes mighty well, we NEED to erect one of these...
