I'm not interested in drafting warriors, I want a basketball player...who has skills like shooting and dribbling

He was the number one or two player in his high school class.   It one thing to not like a guy, and it is ok to like or dislike a guy,  its another to allege he is not a basketball player, which is essentially a falsehood.  You don't recruited by Kansas to play sports and be the number one or two player in his high school class by not being able to play.   Does he have flaws?  Yes.  Does he have strengths?  Yes.

Here are some Bill Self qoutes about Jackson and he coached a guy named Wiggins:

Quote
“He’s the best overall recruit that we ever signed and I’ve ever been around when you combine athletic ability, talent, IQ, thoughts, maturity … I’ve never been around anybody that had that many things going on like a 25-year-old man should have. He was just way above his years,” Self said.

This next quote ought to put things in context when one considers Paul Pierce played for Kansas.

Quote
Jackson broke Kansas freshman records for most double-doubles (12), field goals made (220) and field goals attempted (429), while also tying Danny Manning’s record for most rebounds by a Jayhawk freshman. The Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Wooden All-American averaged 16.3 points per game, second in Kansas history for a freshman to Andrew Wiggins’ 17.1.

Quote
Josh is as prepared for the next level as anyone that we’ve ever had.”

Finally, here is some tape of him playing against Kentucky. he had 20 Points and 10 Rebounds this game in a game with several future NBA players.

I heard if we are trading down that we are not taking him anyways.   I heard (Internet RUMOR) it is to be packaged for a pick haul to get Butler.  So relax folks.   Even if we get him we are getting a high motor, athletic and high basketball player.  Sure, his handle could improve and his shot can be suspect at times.   But he would 20 years old, and he isn't the rapid rising guy, who has hid from a year from the basketball world that many here fear.   He played in the NCAAs last year in front of everyone.

I wanted to add. He is absolutely incredible defensively. Sir Charles made a comment in the tournament. He's so athletic that he's double teaming everyone and can still getting back to his man.

He looked 7 feet tall out there. He gives you 110% effort

I'm so tired of hearing high lottery picks that play incredible defense. The last thing we need is to draft another Smart and we don't need more picks to draft more Smarts. The Smarts of the league get you to the playoffs with hustle but never beat good teams because they can't score, period.

A 6'8" Marcus Smart. I want to get rid of the 6'4" we already have not add another one. Please lord tell me they wont pick Jackson, please!!!!
