There is a basic premise here that you can somehow win the battle against GS by beating them at their own game. You can't.  They have two of the top 5 players. They have two more of the top 15 on very favorable contracts. You can't try to match up with other wing players. LeBron, Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo aren't available. That's the entire list of players who can legitimately compete with Durant.
