What a pass from LeBron.  I don't like what he's done to the league (formation of superteams), but I love how he instantly turns everyone on his team into a competent role player.  I can't say enough about his court vision.  Makes everyone that much better.

at least someone here appreciates excellence.

its not excellent , when he hurts his team time after game after game stopping to cry like a baby to the refs , while the ball hears down court for an easy bucket..

this is mental let down or lack of mental tuffness , to ignore the call and play ball

he ll never be at top of my best players

nothing but drives to bucket

make HIS refs earn their money

Lowers his shoulder and comes right at you.

Its getting away consistently with stuff like that that turns me off from NBA basketball

Yup.

If I hadn't gotten hooked as a kid, no way I'd watch this non-basketball.

But I'm a Pragmatist. The game is defined by the rules. The NBA is not a basketball league. Whatever is going on is something else. There are no rules about dribbling, fouls...  The only thing they consistently blow the whistle on is out of bounds. If the ball goes into the stands, they almost always blow the whistle. That's it. You can carry it, hold it and dribble again, walk half the court with it, grab a guy's arm with both hands and hold him away from the play, hold a guy when setting a pick - almost anything goes.

and that is the ONLY way basketball is watchable. That is how David Stern was able to turn a game nobody watched to a multi-billion dollar mega-business. If you call all those fundamental fouls you want the game will be boring, unwatchable, and unplayable.

Upgrading from Smith should be the Cavs' biggest focus this offseason. They should go for Courtney Lee, who makes similar money but would be a much better two-way fit for them at the 2.

If Lebron puts the blame on Love, I could really see a Love and Smith for Carmelo and Lee trade happening.

It's better than watching WWE.  That's what this reminds me of.

Players adjust. There was a league before the 'crab dribble.'  They let AI do it, then Lebron, now everyone including IT can't seem to get it over half court undefended without resting the ball on top of their hand between bounces.

Those so-called casual fans don't know the difference. It's about being entertained, like watching the Globetrotters.  That seems to be the goal.

Blame Love? LOL. Dude has 20 points out there now. Keeping them in the game.

of course you missed that he did the very thing others have blamed James for, using his offhand to wade off his defender. They all do it in the NBA, all of them.

I agree. But Love has always been the scapegoat for them. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see them move him this summer to try and upgrade, not that I think Melo is an upgrade there.

GS just launching away from 3.  They don't play like a great team at times.  They're just so talented that they can get away with stupid basketball for long stretches because eventually those shots will fall, bad as some of them are.

The Warriors literally let them back in the game.

Too many dumb threes early in the shotclock and bad defense.
