Absolutely no more than that. Good player. Good fit for the team. Wildly inconsistent, Jeff Green esque.

Gotta think there is a team out there that will give him more in this market - Brooklyn, Denver, Minnesota, Dallas are the teams I expect to go after him. Hell, I could even see the Nets giving him 17mill + a season.

Think this means the end of the Olynyk era in Boston.

I don't think I want him back in Boston. His occasional outburst isn't worth all of the trouble.

Ya KO is gone.  A 4/50 contract is dramatically less then what he will 100% be offered.

A frustrating player. He's a great 7th or 8th man. Unfortunately I expect him to get paid like a starter

It s also more than his actual value.... But it's a free market... I wish I was little bit taller (the immortal words of Skee-lo)

The Nets signing Olynyk? 2018 first overall pick, here we come!

On the other hand, I feel obligated to mention that KO was a big part of our success this season. Having a big who could stretch the floor and move the ball around did wonders for our offense. Also showed some more defensive chops than years prior.

Just thought I needed to throw some Olynyk love out there. I still believe he is fully capable of blossoming in to a 16/7/3 player.

No its not more then his actual value.  KO is going to be 26-30 years old (AKA: His Prime) during his next contract and he's a mobile 7 footer who can shoot incredibly well for his position.

He will get paid.. he is prototype big for how the league is going.

However bad you think KO is (he's not), hes going to play so much better over the next 4 years then he has with us over the last 4 years.  He will get paid and he is worth it.

Isn't it insane that he will 100% more than make 13 million next year. The market has changed so much in the past few years. Prime Rondo never even made that much here.

Why do we care what he makes IF we sign Hayward?  If Hayward is signed, we are going to go over the cap either with AB or IT (or both) the next year if not already with KO this year, or some other star if we trade for one.  Once over the cap, who cares what Olynyk makes.  He may even help match salaries better for a star down the line if he's more expensive.

From a cap standpoint that is highly unlikely
