I think our players are too tired and spent with no breaks. The idea crossed my mind after game 1s poor shooting and again after game 2, resting IT, bradley, crowder, and horford an entire game. Let the younger guys play full throttle and see what happens....meanwhile it gives guys a rest. But would have been hard to do to the home fans and now in game 3 u risk going down 0-3.....but would it might be only way to win a game or 2?

Nobody in the NBA thinks outside the box. What you have proposed while it makes a lot of sense considering the circumstances would still take huge nads for a coach. Notice how inserting just one fresh leg in the starting lineup causes a major uproar.

I like the idea of just clearing the bench and putting in the fresh legs to run with the Cavs. So they lose, but you get your key players much needed rest. Too late for that strategy now.

It is clear that the Cavs strategy was to run run run and take advantage of the tired legs of the Celtics. It worked very well. Props to Coach Lue.

But if we did that we'd probably lose by 40.

Oh wait...
Yup

We certainly need the rest but that's not something you do in the playoffs, let alone the Eastern Conference finals.

These guys are professional athletes and you need your best players on the court to have a chance at winning, especially against the defending champs.

Again, we need rest and that's apparent. But unfortunately that's just the way the NBA schedule works.
