See if you can create some size mismatches and play a slower more composed game to keep it close.  Cleveland is by far the best three point shooting team in the league. Boston can't keep up with them in a foot race so go for size and a slower game and see what happens.

definitely great in theory however our theory of making lebron hold it and make him shoot jays all game did not work. he easily got off passes and still got to the rim.

Boston can't stop James but if you give the Cavs less possessions and maybe get them in foul trouble Boston might have a chance.

I checked and that lineup wasn't listed which means they spent less than 27 minutes total playing as a unit together.

That lineup has a 111.3 off. rat., 104.5 def. rat., +6.9 net rat.  That line up in the post season has a -8 +/- in about 12.7 minutes but has played about 10 extra defensive possessions thus shows a positive net rating.

Smart. I feel like Smart should be starting at pg this series anyways with IT at the off guard.  Cleveland is killing us with their physical play particularly with lebron but you stop them at the point of attack and win that battle.   Start Jaylen at the 3 and have him guard lebron.

STart Crowder at the 4.  Horford at the 5.  Have Crowder help on Lebron. Bring AB and Rozier off the bench.

Totally different but could have won us this series. C's shoud be being the aggressor anyways. We  have parts.  Lebron is just using our mentality against us.  The C's should be being the aggressor and not even worry about them.

Let Kevin Love beat us but horford should be able to win that battle.

Jaylen and Crowder should be playing lebron and keeping Thompson at bay.  Same with Horford and KO.

I do not understand why Brad went with Gerald Green in game 2 starting the game at all.  If there is one thing about brad i question sometimes is he is a bit slow as far as being the aggressor.

Bradley should be coming off the bench in that role i was talking about for Fultz last time I was here. SAme with Rozier really. Or Gerald.

Cleveland is not a big team inside. They are with lebron at the point of attack that's about it. We should be able to then bring Bradley, Rozier and Green off the bench being aggressive coming off screens going to the hoop or shooting the ball spreading the floor.

Let Smart gobble up Kyrie. And just nearly double Lebron with Jaylen and Crowder.

The C's have been sitting on K.O.'s face the entire season.  There is no way they are going to break from that now even though it is blatantly obvious that is what they are doing.  He is 100% going to be retained next year barring some unforeseen circumstance...bet on it.

Might as well start James Young for all the difference it's going to make.  If Cleveland feels like playing - which it appears they will - get ready for another lopsided blowout.  When they extend pressure with no one who can penetrate off the dribble and score or get to the line, it's checkmate.  You have zero chance.

That said I would start Rozier and Brown and try running the offense through Brown because he's your main threat off the dribble. 

It might be a chance to preview the way they'll start to play next season. The IT and everyone shoots the 3 approach needs to be adjusted a little bit moving forward.

The issue with Smart starting is we lose some impact from the point of attack as far as pace ourselves.  He just has to be aggressive though. If not bring in rozier.
