24 minutes for Marcus Smart. 1 rebound

1 minute for Jaylen Brown. 1 rebound

I'm not sure where this hate for Smart is coming from. He hasn't played great offensively tonight, but he's never really great offensively. He's out there for his defense and playmaking. AB and Crowder have been way, way worse on both sides of the ball tonight, and they, along with Stevens, are the major factors in us losing tonight.
Because Smart is not what was advertised and what is advertised. He is not a major part of this team. He's Kurt Rambis. Kurt was a good player. He had some toughness. He played hard. He had a cult following. I thoroughly respect Kurt Rambis. He wasn't picked 6th I don't think, but he's a good player. Kurt was intelligent also. Yay Kurt Rambis.

Whereas Avery and Jae are better than we thought when we got them. They overachieved from what we thought would happen. Smart underachieved.
good lord.  quit hanging on to him being picked 6th as a reason to believe he'd be an all-star.

I thought after the game 3 disaster this team would come out fired up, embarrassed and ready to go. Wow this is disappointing

Anyone notice the game clock was manipulated to match shot clock in that last possession? lol

Stevens needs to be quicker to the trigger in terms of switching up a stagnant offense. A 26-0 run is absolutely unacceptable, at some point the personnel on the floor is the problem.

Absolutely correct!
Are we seriously critizing the coaches in this situation?!?!?!?  There is absolutely nothing a coach can do when he's outgunned.

I can't believe there's still Stevens apologists after this series with all of the terrible decisions he's made. It's not all his fault, but acting like he's blameless here is just willfully ignorant.

I dunno, I think the Wizards starting 5 is just more talented. The fact that Stevens keeps needing to try different lineups shows how he's trying to overcome the talent disparity.

Like I said, whoever wins Game 4 wins this series.

Celtics are in major trouble.

Somethings gotta change here game 5. Amir is not the answer, crowder has been nonexistent, and we settle for too many jumpers. Defense really has to step up as well
Okay.  But based on your points, there is nothing we can do unless we make some playoffs trades.

Alright, 3 game series here we go.

After being down 0-2 against the Bulls, we would have taken this any day. We are playing with houses money, but it sure would be nice to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. I'm hopeful the Cs can defend their home floor.

Exactly.  This was the game to come out and hit them in the mouth.  We didn't step up to the challenge mentally or effort wise.

We can still win in 6. This series is only tied.

I don't understand why we have such low expectations for such a high pick. His job isn't to be a teeny bit better than Rozier (which I'm not sure he is).

I'm on record that Rozier can do what Smart does and for less money and I will remain on record as saying that till proven definitively wrong for a long time.

Keep in mind fellas, we still have the lottery.

yet nobody answered my questions. howlong will we give young picks to pan out? what is our timeline? we are in year 4 of a complete rebuild.

In order for this team to take the next step..winning the East...they must get a max player who is a legit scorer...Paul George, Butler, Hayward

thanks for giving an answer.

Just don't think they can just count on the picks to get it done

that is my main concern also
LET'S GO CELTICS!

They're definitely a better starting 5, and the IT defensive problem is something that has been overlooked.

But continuing to start Amir and/or Green has been unequivocally a bad decision and a large part in why we've lost the last two games, along with Brad's insistence in letting them get a full head of steam before calling timeouts to stop runs. He's always been terrible with that.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
