With tonight's win and the Pistons loss, the Celtics' magic number for clinching the playoffs is 2. Both teams next play Sunday, so we could officially be a playoff team by the time the weekend is out.I know there are bigger goals, but clinching a playoff berth in the middle of March should be a nice reminder of the quality of this team. Depending how to Cavs do tomorrow vs. the Clippers, we could actually be the first team in the East to clinch a spot.
Just got back from the game at Barclays. It looked like there were more Celtic fans there than Brooklyn fans. Twice, chants of "Let's Go Cel-tics" took over the arena. There was just no energy in that place. It's the first time I've ever been to an NBA game outside of Boston and for the first time I've thought the energy in the building must affect the players. I think it did tonight. No energy in the building, the C's played a little lackluster. Brooklyn got to an awful lot of 50/50 balls.Shouldn't have been that close but there are no bad wins.
Whatever crushes individuality is despotism, by whatever name it may be called and whether it professes to be enforcing the will of God or the injunctions of men.
I was driving across the country tonight and wasn't able to watch the game. TPs for a rundown of how we played. Looks like Crowder had a good game. How'd our younguns do in IT's absence?

How'd our younguns do in IT's absence?Rozier 0 for 8. ......Brown did not show up,offensively . Smart was ice cold first half. KO played well, but must be in CBS doghouse with limited minutes . I'd left him in. 'Smart with usual clutch plays and free throws. Brutal ugly offensive game by both teams.
Hello this is Rob Gronkowski, good luck to the Celtics. Should be a great game! You know why? It's the 69th Game!!!
