While I agree with you, I have to point out that "Tier 2 Superstar" is an oxymoron.
Why's that? You don't think there's a difference between a hall of fame level star and a star leader of his team? That's what I'm referring to.

Of course there's a difference: the second group are stars, not superstars.

Probably better to refer to it that way. They they're around superstar way too often.
