He said 10 days ago that he was trying to learn the CBA, so suffice it to say that he's horribly unqualified.

The front office couldn't get much worse.

Curious to see who Magic targets this draft, assuming the Lakers manage to land top pick. Have to figure he will be all in on Ball, try to bring back Showtime to LA.

Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Goal was to push Jim Buss far away from running the Lakers as possible .he is hated by Lakers fans and Johnson too.

Part two ......is to bring Jerry West. 80 years old back to run the buying , selling and trading .  If they can lure him away from Warriors.

I kinda wish Phil Jackson and West and these ancient guys who have made a zillion dollars would just GO AWAY retire and let new blood come in.   

Johnson is just a great FEEL GOOD cheerleader for Lakers fans to cling to.   He does not have the IQ to be the business side .   As a spokesman, he'll serve the purpose since nobody wants to see Jeanie Buss as the voice of the Lakersl

They moved Jim away,   But the next part of landing West .....that's the KEAy to their plan.

Magic is a smart guy, so for the Lakers' sake I hope he knows to hire qualified people and keep his role limited to senior manager/figurehead.
