  • Let's Go Celtics!
51-30 is their rebounding edge. 51-30

Ridiculous. Add into that a p----poor effort on the defensive end and this is our worse loss of the year.

I'm just sick of having to talk about lack of rebounding. It's been like a decade of talking about different iterations of this team (KG era, this current) being good but rebounding being a weakness. I've said in different threads, our front office probably just doesn't value rebounding as highly as other teams. Its been such a prolonged, costly weakness.

Roz is a better offensive player clearly

Than who? He's one for seven with many missed layups!

Clearly, 5 pts on 1-8 shooting with 2 asts and a -23 compared to Smart's 4 points on 1-6 shooting 5 asts and a +0. Clearly better.

At least Smart can guard, too.

Yeah terrible lack of effort on rebounding. Some of it's probably fatigue but lazy's coming on strong.

overall he is. He's a better shooter and scores at the rim better.

At the risk of overreacting, this team is going to win 50 games and then lose in the first round again.  The defense has been dubious all season and it's going to be painfully exposed in the playoffs.

Mike

Good chance you're right.

Pretty much. So soft.

I'd like to hear Brad's reasoning for leaving Rozier in. I can't think of any possible justification, especially with Jaylen playing well.

Not tonight and not recently, maybe in summer league.

Rozier a team high -22!

I don't think people realize this. They see these wins that we've been getting, though against teams that we SHOULD beat, but this type of basketball isn't going to get us anywhere in the playoffs. Simply trying to outscore other teams while playing next to zero defense and not rebounding is an absolute recipe for disaster in the playoffs.

Hard to win when two of your starters go 3-20 combined.
