As long as the Celtics can keep this deficit below 8 by halftime.. we have a chance.

Can't let a team shoot such a high percentage from 3 and expect to be in the game. We are lucky its a single digit lead.

Smart with some terrific D on James to end the game. Love when the refs allow him to play.

I think it's clear that Al is a center defensively. He's so good defending at the rim and in the post, but his perimeter D, especially on PnRs, is severely lacking. It does make you wonder about him ultimately being a PF long-term with us trying to upgrade our C position with a Boogie, Noel, or Bogut type.

got to hand it to Smart in terms of defending Bron -- he seems to do a better job of it than anyone else I've seen.  that last play would have generated a foul call for Bron driving up the court

Stevens is simply not doing a good job coaching this year. He puts in Jaylen. Jaylen does some of his best basketball and they pull close. Immediately takes him out. Cavs pull away. Just bad coaching this year. Rewarding softness. Punishing good play. That's Brad this year.
funny this is not the first time he done that.

Jaylen blew two defensive assignments that's why he got pulled. He needs to have better awareness defensively if he's going to play because plays like that kill us in this types of games

If everyone got pulled for blown defensive assignments no one would play. Look at Green, Kelly, JJ, etc...

But for our young player it doesn't send a good message to play him anyways? You want him to become disciplined and make the right plays and considering we have Green coming in and cooking than he should know we don't have to play him. He needs to earn his minutes.

So Jaylen should be held to a standard that no one else on the team is? What does that teach a young player?

To become disciplined and studious of the game. You people act like this is the first time he's missed defensive assignments. He's had a problem on rotations all season and it has not gotten much better.  If you come in after 5 minutes and give up two 3 pointers you should get pulled considering you have two competant SF with abilities to make contributions as well.

I love JB by the way

Brown played 4 minutes scored 4 points, 2 rebounds and an assist.

More Brown

Less KO

Giving up 66 points seems like way too much. Feels like we need to come up with a stellar defensive effort or else we won't be able to stay in this.

SF (small forward) is our weakest link.  Hands down
