That young line up... I have hopes, but they are not good yet. Smart is ok

Smart played James perfectly at the end of the quarter there. He's got this sixth sense for knowing where the screen is without ever taking his eyes off his man.

I'm not convinced if we had our full compliment of players if this game would be going any differently. The defense and rebounding is just really poor. Cavs hitting on all their shots as well. We need a rebounding presence in this starting lineup really bad. We should have tried harder at Festus Ezili.

Why wouldn't it be going differently if we had our best overall player and two of the better defensive players in the league in the line up?

Because we've already seen the perimeter defense look this poor already this season and AL Horford doesn't fix our rebounding issues.

The perimeter D was superb last night with Smart back in there. You just can't lose an excellent perimeter defender in Crowder and an excellent defender in Horford without having an effect on the overall defense.

When Doc was here, they used to always try to push LeBron to his left, cut off his penetration with our bigs and try to make him a jump shooter.  Brad's trying to play him man to man with a bunch of guys who are either too small or too slow.

Pacers getting whooped by a lousy Bucks team. I'm feeling very good about my prediction of them as a 6-10 seed.

Yeah, I'm glad this is happening to temper those expectations for them. We also play them next week, so that's helpful that they're playing like crap now for that reason, too.

Tnt making a big deal about Lebron jumping into top 10 scoring at the age of 31.

They do realize he came into the league out of high school,  right?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Still impressive, but yeah, that should be mentioned.

Smart on Lebron is not something that is going to be good for us.  He has easily shot over Smart multiple times, in the first half he got to the paint anytime he wanted to against Smart.  Smart is an insanely good def player, but he gives up 5 inches and 30-40 lbs to Lebron.  It isn't going to help us...

Great shot by Smart.  Awful D by Mickey.  Cut off the baseline.  Dude is just not good.

Maybe. Cavs are hitting their shots. Im not trying to understate that Crowder and Horford are incredibley important to our success this year. I think were the second best team in the east with them. I think it's a big gap between first and second though. I of course like the fight in this team as always.
