Funny how some players are starting to prove me to be outright wrong in a bad way. I thought Gerald Green was definitely making the team but boy he has looked awful on both sides of the ball tonight to the point where I'm starting to think the Celtics might cut him instead of Young or Hunter.

Green has been horrific today. He is starting to show why he's a minimum salary journeyman. I might keep Young and Hunter just for their upside.

Green is a dark horse for getting cut.
The thought occurred to me this game.

Looks to me like they just took green out of the game for good while Hunter/Young are on the floor.

That tells me the last spot will be between the two of them.

James Young is finally playing with a sense of urgency. Whether he gets cut or not, I'm happy to see that.

Yes.

I like the increased physicality too. He still doesn't look as relaxed and natural as he does shooting in Maine, but he has definitely settled down some. Looks like he might have a future after all.

young > hunter.

Yep, I'm firmly in the Young camp. He's shown more and is younger. However, I'm fully on board with waiving Green instead.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

So what's the over/under for Knicks points in this quarter with Zeller and Jerebko defending the paint? I'm thinking 31.5

We will be destroyed in the paint.

13 pts in 2:38. Looks like my original estimate was way too conservative.

How is Brad not seeing this?

You know it is pre-season, right?

I would rather watch RJ Hunter play center than Zeller. At least when he ducks away from other big men he'll have the excuse of being short.

I think RJ Hunter is making it easier for me to decide to drop him vs James Young, Young is playing better overall and consistent during the preseason, I think he has earned the 15th man spot
