I changed my mind....  They really are not high on MCW.    Lets give them a project and a back up PG.   Ad a pick and we get our ET Replacement project.  MCW is a player, selfish.  But maybe he would buy in.   May the best man win in training camp.

Bradley is the only Celtic that really makes sense to replace Middleton.

I wouldn't be in a rush, but I could see:

Bradley, RJ, Young
for
Henson, Maker, 1st rounder

Sheds a roster spot and brings back 13 years of control over the incoming players (including the pick once drafted). Henson might grow under Horford, or isn't a bad value under the current cap on his deal. Maker can go to Maine, further simplifying the roster.

Of course, it also leaves us with the same problem Milwaukee is trying to solve- no SGs who can shoot.

AB for Parker straight up wouldn't be bad.

Only true if you are a Bucks fan.

You realize that like 90% of the league would disagree with this observation, right? I think most would easily trade Bradley straight up with Parker, whose ceiling is much higher than Bradley's.

I like Henson.  Thorn made him replaceable.  I don't think they would move both and ad a 1st.    We know they shopped Monroe.    So that would be crazy.

I think Bradley is our SG unless we upgrade him.   Too important for a side ways move.

I can see them getting better value for Maker, 1st and Henson. I'm doing a classic over valuing Bradley because he fits our team.  And undervaluing him for other teams.

I think we are a couple pieces away. But Danny would trade picks to build it for us this year.   I can see us sending them a couple young shooters for MCW and hoping they can develop one and have Middleton back a month before playoffs.

90% of the league being morons sounds right.

Maybe they should trade for Rudy Gay.

I preferred your Henson idea (which I was looking up at the same time).

My idea:

Denver gets:
Jerebko
Hunter
Bentil
Top 10 protected 1st from Milwaukee

Milwaukee gets:
Wilson Chandler
Demetrious Jackson

Boston gets:
John Henson

Will the Celtics still have cap room if there's a potential Henson deal?

Maybe they should trade for Rudy Gay.
They probably need a guy who plays SG.

They can use Brad Stevens' classifications and treat Giannis and Gay as wings.

They don't have that kind of coach.

Problem with trading AB is we need his shooting just as much as the Bucks do.

Green helps a little with that but yeah, it's not our strong suit.

Naw, the Bucks are WAY worse than us in that regard.

Their starting lineup right now is - MCW, Middleton, Giannis, Parker, and Monroe. Middleton is an excellent shooter, but the rest of them are below average shooters for their position at best. That spacing is virtually non-existent.

Compared to our starting lineup - IT, Bradley, Crowder, Amir, and Horford, we look like the Warriors. Bradley is as good of a shooter as Middleton. IT and Horford are both above average shooters for their position, and Crowder is average. And with KO or JJ in there instead of Amir, we might have the most well-rounded shooting starting lineup in the league. With Zaza at center, the Warriors' starting lineup can't even boast five three point shooting threats.

Ray Allen to return to the Bucks.

As far as trades go we are one of the worst teams for Milwaukee to trade with. They will need shooting and that is one of our big weaknesses...

If Middleton wasn't injured, the Bucks starting lineup should be him, Dellavedova, Giannis, Teletovic, and either Plumlee or Henson.
