Isaiah officially clocked in at #45.  Horford is somewhere in the top 30.

Also surprising they ranked Chris Bosh (#37)  but decided to leave Jrue Holiday off the list due to his indefinite absence.
45 seems criminally low

Fortunately we all know thomas will bust his behind to prove people wrong

If you take the "homer" hat off, 45 is about right

IT is not ahead of lowry for example

Yes IT was an all star last year and had a very good year... however he also had the ball attached to his hands and his fg percentage was below avg.   One, well two nice home playoffs performance but it would have been nice to see him silence the crowed for an away game

Im being a little critical ,but he could still be better, more efficient

I don't need my HOMER HAT on to question Kember Walker being 36th and IT coming in at 44th!!!!!!!!

So this means the 10 players left are Lebron, Curry, Durant, Westbrook, Paul, Leonard, George, Davis, Harden, and Griffin. My prediction is

10. Blake Griffin
9. James Harden
8. Paul George
7. Anthony Davis
6. Chris Paul
5. Kawhi Leonard
4. Russell Westbrook
3. Kevin Durant
2. Stephen Curry
1. Lebron James

Anyone who predicts the last 10 correctly gets a TP.

I lost some respect for the list after they started releasing 50 and lower. A lot of player positioning I don't agree with at all.

I think Curry has earned #2 over Durant.
Despite Curry's season, I still definitely believe Durant is the 2nd best player in the world.  Durant actually might be the best basketball player alive, honestly... that's what makes his decision to join a 73 win team so deflating.

I'm still interested to see if the Thunder win 40 games without him.

What's interesting is that I can see the logic in putting Durant #2... the idea that he had far less help and had to basically carry the THunder.  But in making that argument, you basically have to assume the premise that Russell Westbrook is overrated (which I believe).   So sticking Westbrook at #5 in a ranking that has Durant #2 is a little whacky.   I personally think DUrant at #2 makes sense, but then I'd expect to see Westbrook further down the list.  Really interested to see if Westbrook gets exposed this season.

I would not argue about how LBJ was more dominant in the post-season than Curry.
Lebron James showed real grit and MVP leadership  in the finals.
However, I wonder how our interpretation of Curry vs Lebron for the 1 spot would be
if Golden State had won the championship.

I think that Curry has the edge-due to how much of an impact he has on Golden State's success. Curry opens the floor what he does for Klay Thompson's is give Thompson the opportunity the way that Jordan did for Pippen.

I don't see Durant ahead of Lebron, simply because of the defense.
Lebron's defense is superior.

I wouldn't agree that Durant has to carry the Thunder. I think Westbrook is that good. But we'll see. I don't know how many wins an OKC team would need to make me think," Yeah, I still believe Westbrook is top 5." I'm curious because I really have to see it to believe it. One of the interesting storylines for next year. I'm not even sure what's fair considering the team around him.

I agree Durant should be #2 but fair or not I AM questioning his cajones and toughness( mental and physical). He's probably in a no win situation reputation wise. If he plays well and wins they'll say he was supposed to win and if he loses it will be a gargantuan failure.

I love Kawai and I love defensive players but I'd put Durant ahead of him for sure.

I firmly believe that James is the best player in the world so have no issue with him at 1, but I don't see how the 2 time defending MVP is not at worst 2nd on the list.  And I don't think this is a Nash type situation where Nash was winning MVP's when everyone knew he wasn't the best player in the league.  There is a real debate between Curry and James for best player (I mean just look at the thread we had on here when it was found out Curry was unanimous).

My problem with the top 10 is that I think they have Chris Paul to high, I would have him 6th, and I believe Draymond Green should be 9th ahead of Blake and George. The biggest reason Draymond isnt top ten is his total PPG scoring but he was a third option on his team. Make him a #1 option and he would be over 20 PPG easily and there would be no doubt he is a top 10 playervas all the rest of his stats, especially advanced stats are off the hook good.
