Horford this early a little bit of a surprise to me - would have had him in the early 20s. Maybe the last playoffs has biased me too much against him.

I thought he'd be there for me at #30 if I was lucky.

Whoa. Horford at #16.

I had him ranked #13 on my board.

I'll admit, though, my board is based purely on advanced statistical information.  I took several metrics from various sources and weighted them, and then combined into a final "score".  I'm picking strictly based on that board.

We'll see what happens.

Agreed, was looking at him as a high second rounder or very late first

Whoa. Horford at #16.

Yep. I think that's a big reach.

He wouldn't have gotten past me. He's an All-Star at either the 4 or 5. I don't see how guys can tout Draymond as top 5 and not acknowledge Horford top 20.

But even from a subjective standpoint, Horford ain't no 2nd rd pick.

That's crazy pants talk.

No, definitely not. But with the talent available, it's not hard to see why it's looking like a reach.

BTW, speaking of talent available, someone is slipping. 18th pick in and that guy is still available? Good value pick to whoever picks him.

I think I know how you're talking about. He was on my short list with KAT - I didn't think Cousins would be around at #9.

Al's decline on the boards/disembowelment at the hands of TT the last two years have soured me on him a bit.

He's still an excellent player, but he has a vulnerability that's hard to work around.

I'd want to pair him with a major glass-eater/physical presence but at the same time I wouldn't want to push him to the 4 (where he's a less impactful player everywhere but the glass, IMHO).
