Really like the two combo forwards I'm going to start at the 3 and 4 in Aaron Gordon and Jabari Parker. I think both have super star upside. Gordon can take the more difficult match up on defense and help cover up for Jabari's d.Thoughts on my team so far? I have 3 4ths tomorrow, that should help fill out my roster.
TP to Celts Fan 508 for hooking me up so I could sneak in some family time this afternoon.Trying to build this roster has been a challenge for me since I inherited Mike Malone as a coach (Was he really the first coach selected?). He definately runs a style I, as a fan, do not enjoy however my job as GM is to get the players to match his coaching style.Spent a lot of time since taking over Denver watching Mike Malone's teams play from youtube videos. I'm 173% certain I have 0 idea who his protypical point guard would be.

I stressed all night in choosing who to pair with LeBron and Jae, I choose Bradley over Jonas Val and Jrue Holiday. Was I wrong?
C: Jonas ValanciunasF: Karl-Anthony TownsF:G: Khris MiddletonG:Solid young team with talent. I'm probably not doing a good service for Towns putting him at PF, but Valanciunas' rebounding, toughness and physicality is too much to pass.

I guess if everyone in your lineup besides Val can shoot it will be ok. But having two 7 footers can really gum up spacing and make you slow on close outs imo.Watching the Celtics last year really reinforced my feeling that teams are most successful when they have no more than one guy who can't shoot/create off the dribble on the floor at a time.

I had him top 4 on my big board when you made your pick. AB would be a great starting SG on a championship team that already has an Alpha go to scorer. The argument that he's undersized for the 2 is hogwash. Top defensive guard in the league (even before last season) who has 0 issue getting his shot off with a man in his grill. There are so many little things about Avery's game while watching tape of him it makes me giddy. My biggest beef with him is he doesn't have the tightest handle.Whew! I feel better.
