  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Please don't flame me, or whatever for posting it. I'm only posting this, because even though I harbor hurt feelings for Jesus Shuttlesworth for leaving, and joining arms with the common enemy, I've come to understand that while there's a business decision; there almost always is a basketball decision that overrules it.

Still... Ray Allen was the key clog in getting us that ring, and he was the 2nd piece that inadvertently got us KG to waive his NTC.

Here's hoping for the best of him, thanks for the championship and memories, and pray that this guy doesn't sign with the Cavs or GSW lol.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I'm not a Ray Allen fan after he left like he did, but it's long enough ago that I've gotten over it.  I hope he signs with the Cavs and helps burn GSW to the ground
I'm bitter.

Good old Judas. Seems about right he will sign with golden state a week before the playoffs and go after the ring like Golem

Well I haven't gotten over it.  Not only am I bitter for the way he left the Celtics, but he also set the standard that KD followed, which is to go to the team that gives you the best chance of getting hardware.  Apparently it is the hardware, not the championship that is important to these guys.

Yes Ray Allen a 36 year old at the time on a dying team set the standard for KD ,,,, Lebron James in 2010 did not, a prime LBJ by the way, best player in the league LBJ, oh Karl Malone didnt? Gary Payton? I can go on and on.

Are you 10 years old? OR you just don't watch much basketball? Or maybe you are one of those Celtic fans who hates everything but Celtics.

I still have a bit of something stuck in my craw about Allen, but I'd be down with the bold part above.

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Entirely possible without Ray Ray leaving when he did we still wouldnt have won another championship and the rebuild would be years behind schedule.  Didnt like it at the time but things have worked out well.
