Horford and KO as starters

Could be very good. Both guys can stretch the floor. Good bbiq. Work hard.  On the defensive end, KO can roam around with confidence that Horford can secure defensive rebounds/protect the rim better than anyone he has played with before.

I need to see Kelly do more consistently, what he does sporadically. (besides get hurt) Kelly needs to prove he can be a reliable, aggressive, everyday, contributor. Especially before being considered a starter.

I had a notion that jerebko would look really good next to horford.
He's not the best at anything, but he does everything, and he brings it every game.

the two would be an agile and tough defensive pairing.

I'm honestly torn. I think Amir, KO, and JJ all have really good claims for that spot, and I really actually like the differing fits that each provides.

I think one of Amir or KO probably gets the spot, but I honestly think JJ at the 4 gives them the best two-way starting five. Between his floor spacing/deadly corner 3 and his size/defensive versatility, I think he provides the best of both worlds, especially against a team like Cleveland.

If Horford continues to play a more perimeter-oriented game like he did last year, starting him and KO together is suicide for rim protection.  Start Amir and bring Kelly off the bench so that he can provide instant spacing and offense for a second unit that could badly use it.

That's got to be the first time that the words 'agile' and 'tough' have ever been used to describe KO, lol ;D. TP for the laugh ;D.

This is his make-or-break season, IMO.  He needs to get to that Ryan Anderson-lite level (and no, not Anderson's injury history part) to justify the price he's gonna be asking down the road.  If he makes little to no strides, I don't want to see him return.

Kelly has his faults, but he is by no means a negative to the team. When hes healthy and confident(two qualifiers which have more of an impact than youd like) he is a really nice piece. I dont understand this insistence on trashing productive players. Kelly Olynyk is not James Young.

All that said, I dont wanna pay the kid big bucks this offseason. I just dont see the need to trash the guy.
