I think a bigger, more two-way oriented Russell Westbrook is a good high-end comp for Brown. He could be even better if he develops his shot more than Westbrook.

Yeah, he plays so hard in every aspect of the game except when he goes up for a lay-up dunk - way too timid. Luckily he has the power and athleticism to overcome that.

I think that's a reaction to first summer league game when he nearly got killed by that ridiculously bad block attempt.  Wouldnt be surprised if the coaches told him to preserve himself.

It's totally fine to criticize his game right now, because we know he was raw coming in, but long-term he has a shot to be really good.  It's not going to happen this year, though.  He needs to go at high level pros daily for at least a couple years and hopefully he starts playing at their level.   He's not going to make that development playing against weak summerleague talent.

Wait how were either of those criticisms. I was saying it was impressive.

I like all our guys honestly.  We don't have to cut players. That's what the d-league is for.  Jackson, Bentil and guys like Nader might have limtied upside but have potential to be good roleplayers someday.

Jackson still looks like a nice prospect. All these guys can do some things.  I don't think Jackson is that explosive though like he was advertised out of the gate.  He doesn't seem to have a great first step.  Plays more like jameer nelson. He could still be a microwave sort of guy.
