Build around Dragic, Winslow, and Whiteside I guess. Not a bad core.

Miami will be fine.

Wade is on the edge. The Bulls aren't going to anywhere with him.

Sounds like Mediocrity.

Johnson is an RFA. Won't they match Nets offer and keep him now that Wade is gone?

Hopefully

I agree, they are probably better off. But, as Forsberg mentioned, Miami probably would have at least liked a first round pick out of it. OKC has had by far the worst summer so far, but Miami looks to be going nowhere fast. They better try and piece this together quickly, though, with no first next year.

Hey, with living in FL, I only get to go to 3-4 Cs games a year. At least my Miami game(s) will be greatly discounted.

Yeah, definition of a treadmill team, though I don't think they even make the playoffs this year in a better East.

Also, they apparently don't have their pick this year either, so the tanking thing doesn't really make sense either lol

I wouldn't be surprised if they pay Lance Stephenson as a fallback option.

Dwyane Wade on the Bulls?  Lance Stephenson on the Heat?  What has this world come to, lol? ;D

Woj just tweeted out: "Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojVerticalNBA  12m12 minutes ago
Never discussion on Calderon to Brooklyn. Nets were motivated for Wade to stay in Miami, making it harder for Heat to match on Tyler Johnson"

Leads me to believe they'll match.

Miami does have their 2017 1st.  The Suns get the Heat pick in 2018 (top 7 protected) or 2019.  They also have the Heat 2021 1st.

They're still the Heat.

Winslow will get a lot better and they will pursue max free agents next summer.

Just watch, they'll sign Westbrook and Griffin next summer.

They'll likely end up being like the Lakers next summer.

Why would they go to Miami instead of LA? I think the days of top players running to big cities without ggood rosters are over. Miami needs Bosh back in a big way.

Then I'm back on the tank train for them lol

They are screwed so bad. They need to tank, but Whiteside, Bosh, Winslow prevent it.

Did you all feel Miami was a treadmill team before? It's not like they would've been a contender with Dwyane Wade the next two years.

It makes sense for them to let Wade go. But they're the Heat and Riley is still there so they will look to reload via free agency, not the draft.

Lucky you.  I've never even been to one :'(.
