We never had Durrant and getting him yes would have put us a lot closer faster but how do you think OKC fans feel? They just went from knocking on the door of getting to the finals to each their star player jump ship to the team they should have beat. Next yet they get to watch their other star leave as well. Celtics just have to continue the process they are on with the draft picks which could potentially be 1 or 2 the next 2 years. Yes it would have been great to get Durrant but the Celts future is still bright. Let's see what Brown is all about, does Smart improve? Do they have a shot at the top of the draft for a game changer next year? Or trade the picks for a great player? Celts have options we just have to wait a little longer than if Durrant was man enough to start somethin in Boston.

The FO didn't do much (or maybe did the wrong things) to keep Durant.
I feel bitter because one of the player that I respect the most turned out to be a childish hypocrite. I didn't see that coming.

Actually, not having KD might mean that players like Brown, Rozier, and Smart actually gain more playing time, while others like Bentil now have room to make the roster.

That's silver lining, right? Or am I over-rationalizing this? haha
