Does Danny go hard after Butler? Do we just fill out the roster with a couple role players and try for somebody at the trade deadline?

If KD doesn't come here this year, Sullinger will be resigned to a $18 million 1+1 deal.  Celtics will try again for KD next summer, with Hayward being plan B.  C's will keep cap space open for those two players.

It looks like Durant is really considering the Celtics (top3 choice).. However in all likelihood he will sign a 1/1 with OKC... However The celtics should not tie themselves into too many contracts... I believe Durant will monitor this team closely this year and reevaluate this situation again next year and the Celtics could potentially be a front runner..

He can still go after Butler even if Durant did sign which I think Ainge promised (or any other big star thats tradeable) Butler makes around 20 mil a year ... Add Bradley 9 mil and some fillers with of course next years BK pick..

Explore trade options to secure a third all star caliber player. If that doesn't work, focus on shoring up the bench and plan on developing the young parts of the roster while aiming for the ECF. Next summer, try again to add the final piece of the puzzle.

Rondo should shake Butler loose

I'm afraid Danny will save his money and we're doing this again next summer

I think we see Jerebko and Amir back. And perhaps Sully back on a sweet on year deal, per another poster's suggestion.

But I think that's about it for the offseason. Which is fine, as far as I'm concerned. We've got assets and talent. Just need to wait for the right opportunities.

I'll probably just go back to saying Ainge and Wyc are nothing but a bunch of steam blowers and that they only pretended to be interested in KD to keep the fans happy. Yeah. Yeah, that's what I'll do.

Don't let Sully come back, bring in Terrence Jones, and bring back Johnson and Jerebko

Develop our young players, especially the BKN picks.

Do the Boogie Woogie dance, or try for Hayward next offseason (or Durant if he opts out of OKC). We're still headed to 50+ wins and perhaps the second round.

even if durant doesnt come here, we are in good shape. adding Horford changes our status in the league. now we are a team with two all-stars who maybe will make it to the 2nd round or better next year. and can chase a superstar next summer.

likely sign some vets at short 1 year deals. we will be a good team in the east. maybe top 2 -3 but likely needing that 3rd star to be a true contender

Sully comes back on the QO or he does not come back, people are not knocking at his door.  How many headlines you seen about times wanting his services?   ZERO.  There is no need for a sweet deal when other teams do not want him.

I still think we should release him and cut our losses.   Rather sign someone who can play better like Zaza and last the whole year.

I've always been a fan of Zaza. I like that idea. Plus he's more of a true C.
