Isn't he still a RFA? I'm pretty sure the blazers have said they'll match offers for him and this seems like a offer they'll match since this is like an average contract for a player of his skill level this off season

Yeah, he is.  Brookyln is just throwing money at RFA's right now, see what sticks.  If they get a couple, great.  If they don't, that's money other teams have committed next year.

The reported Allen Crabbe offer sheet agreement with Brooklyn is being refuted. He has meetings coming on the 5th, I'm told.

Hopefully.   Him going there would be a bit dangerous.  If you surround Brook with shooters (Lin, Crabbe and that scrub they gave 50 million to can all shoot), it could be a team that could creep out of the bottom 5.

Lol, Crabbe isn't going to actually be a Net next year.  It's more likely Lopez is traded by February than it is they win 30.  I wouldn't be surprised to see Lopez traded in the next week to a team that missed out on free agency.

I have no idea why people would think Brooklyn would win 30 games. With or without Allen Crabbe. The guy posted a -2.40 RPM last season. If you're playing him 30 minutes a game, you're going to be bad.

He has good sources, so not sure what occurred here.

Assuming Philly starts trying next year and makes a trade with some of their excess centers, I don't see anyone in the East being worse than Brooklen, even with these signings. The Knicks will be better. Milwaukee, Orlando, and Washington might not be better but they shouldn't be worse. Chicago might be worse but they've still got Butler and some real NBA players around him.

In the West, Phoenix might be the only team with less talent on its roster. Maybe the Lakers, if Ingram isn't ready to contribute yet.
