Good replacement for Sully if they can get Humphries to a cheaper deal.

I think I like him over Zeller. But I'm not sure if my distaste for Zeller is clouding my basketball judgement.

I would think he would replace Zeller.

He'd be a good backup for us, but do we not have KO and Mickey and two draft picks this year for that anyways??
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Why?

Just give the minutes to Jerebko and Mickey.

Why sign a guy who is 30+ and no better than guys we already have?

If the Celts can't get any guys to make a real difference I hope they just roll with young dudes and call it a summer. If it's another summer of stopgap veterans and another year of watching young guys ride the bench while the team fights to a first round exit, I will be peeved, to put it mildly.

If we sign Horford I think they would complement each other well. All depends on the price but he is a banger and did well when he was here. Should have kept him over fat boy!

I mean rolling with the young guys is great, till they can't hack it. Nothing wrong with groundwork to fill out the roster with another veteran if Sully is out the door.

Perhaps the coaching staff and front office thinks our young guys just arent that good. Maybe those young guys havent played for a reason. Also, Jerebko could be gone if we need the cap space.

Nick - fine.

Cut them, and let's try out some dudes from the d league. Or take a chance on some younger free agents who might be able to show something in a larger role. Eg Solomon Hill or Andrew Nicholson.

Humphries has no future on this team and does nothing to affect the teams present in a meaningful way.

If the team signs Durant and Horford to add backups to make a run you will need cheap vets willing to come here. Humphries liked his time here and would be a good vet off the bench to have on the cheap.

If the Horford/Durant combo doesnt sign here, I dont see Humphries being signed
