I had not heard of Yab before the draft tbh

Hernangomez I knew bcs he was playing in Spain and I was hoping we would draft him with a second rounder last year.

It seems to me that Yab is a high risk/high reward pick, whereas Hernangomez is closer to being a finished product. But I do not know much about either player.

Btw, do you have a source for the claim that Ainge was interested in Hernangomez? Good to see him warming up to European players.

Well, I'm glad we didn't draft Hernangomez. He doesn't seem at all like a 1st round prospect imo.

Makes sense.. They both (The Frenchman and Hernangomez) play very similar games..  Looks like they can be molded into players that can stretch you, explode to the basket on rolls and guard Multiple positions..

I like the bulk of the Frenchman better though, especially him playing Small 5 and matching up against heavy centers..

I heard it a couple places but one was Nate Duncan and Danny Lenox on the "dunc'd On" podcast from a couple days ago, by the way their mock offseason episodes are good as well

Hernangomez is Jerebko part 2. Not bad not great

Yabu has a higher ceiling. And zizic is elite at least in one thing. Rebounding
