It appears DA has too many picks and too many young unproven players.
Also, players that make our team that great don't have much value around the league.
At last, DA has a great core that he would like to keep and just try to aquire a couple of top veterans.

Unfortunatly other teams see that as a threat (a fair deal would benefit Boston more because they rebuild much faster than anybody). The consensus tend to show us that nobody want to deal with us for that particular reason. I think it wasn't too hard to realize judging how Wyc look so p---ed during the interview and also how DA looks exhausted mentally (I believe he had to hear a lot of nonsense the past week).

Anyway, all this to say, that's ok. Other teams are not here to facilitate your progression towards contention. There is no need to take risk and take Dunn and hope to get a good deal this summer out of him. No workout, no medical evaluation, you don't take that guy, full stop.
DA choose to move on and take Brown, the BPA obviously for reasons he saw probably the last 2 years of scouting him.
DA stays flexible and took 2 europeans that have great potential and will probably stash them if he needs to.

If FA is not good, our future is still very bright. We can sign a 1+1 deal on a couple of veterans to help the team to do better and make the youngs progress.

I'm proud to be a Celtics fan, I fully trust DA, Wyc and Brad.

With these set of players i'd make a max 2 year + team offer for Horford because he can pass, run the floor and defend.

Thomas/Rozier/Jackson
Bradley/Smart/Hunter
Crowder/Turner/Brown
Anderson/Johnson/Mickey
Horford/Olynyk/Zizic

This is what i'd like the rotation to be if we can't make a major trade.

I'd like to see those 2 moves as well. Chandler Parsons also intrigues me as well.
