Noel
+ the best of 2017 Lakers #1 or PHI #1 or SAC #1
+ the worse of 2019 PHI #1 or SAC #1

for #3 and  #51 and  # 58 + 2018 BOS #1 top 10 protected

Then package the 2 future #1's + #16 for Player you want (Butler etc).

Future Boston picks:
2017: BOS,  (rights to swap with Brooklyn)
2018: (BOS protected top 10),  Brooklyn
2019: BOS, Memphis (top 8 protected)

I like the idea of acquiring first round picks from Philly because that might do good for the entire NBA. I mean, picture it: without their own 1st rounder Philadelphia would actually have to try and win! Wow! Groundbreaking.

If you think that Embiid's health is still a concern, then Philly's picks might be fairly valuable.  There's no guarantee that they move out of lottery territory in the next year or two.

Could Chicago or any team rebuilding team truly pass up 2 future top 10 picks (most likely) and  #16 this year?

Think about it.

Well for 2017 you have 2 shots. Are both the Lakers and the Sixers going to be playoffs teams next year?  Most likely neither will and you will have the higher of those 2 picks. Possibly top 5.

They have both the Philly 2018 and the unprotected Kings 2018 (from the deal they made earlier this year)
I'm bitter.

You have us trading our 2018 pick to Philly, but also include it in "Future Boston picks".  Don't know if you meant to do this because we have some protection on it, but just wanted to point it out.

Either way sign me up for this please.

The only way to trade #3 is to get picks in 2017 and 2019 that have a chance to be good. Chances are one of those picks end up being Top 5.  Getting Noel for filler is gravy.

Noel alone is not enough need to get a future pick or 2 back.
