I want Jamal Murray on the Celtics so bad that I can't sleep...

I'm 33 years old, I've got two kids and a good life. But I feel I'm addicted to this draft. I can't stop reading reports, rumours, watching videos and every type of online stuff about the draft.
I wonder if I developed some kind of psychiatric condition because I want the Celtics to draft Jamal Murray soooo bad that I can't stop thinking about it night and day.
The kid is 19 and just makes this team better from Day 1, something that only Simmons and Ingram could do. Just look how he dominated that Nike Hoops Summit last year alongisde Ingram, Brown, Simmons, Skal Labissiere, Diallo, Maker, etc.
Anyone with the same condition?    :)

Haha I just want the wait to be over because although this draft doesn't seem to have that many stars other than Simmons... it will finally be the precursor to 'the fireworks' we were promised oh so long ago and gives us C's fans a true understanding about where this franchise is heading.

P.S. I just hope Danny doesn't trade away that 2018 Brooklyn pick, and if you have seen footage of DeAndre Ayton you will know why.

Yeah, I'm all over this draft too.  One of the more intriguing selections (assuming we make one) that I can ever remember.  And since I'm not tied to any specific player, I hope you get your wish.

wow! I so don't want Murray I can't sleep because I know this guy fits danny Ainge's criteria.

 - too small to be a SG - check
 - not really a PG - check
 - combo guard - check

if danny had the #1 pick he'd still take this guy.

I'd be fine with Murray at 3. Sounds like it will be Brown at 3 thou. I think he's the safest pick at 3. I watched his Canada vs USA game and the kid can score in bunches. Has that leader ability as well.

I keep thinking that I can't wait until draft day, then I keep thinking that I shouldn't be wishing my days away, then I start thinking that I should stop thinking so much...

OP, if if makes you feel any better, I'm a decade older than you are, with the same two kids and good life. But this draft has taken over.

I actually have a draft day dilemma. Draft night is my anniversary. Naturally, that causes a conflict.

So now I have to decide whether I'm going to let my wife stay in the room with me while I watch the draft. She always wants to, you know, talk. Can't have that while I'm debating Brown/Murray.

I don't follow college ball and it sounds like all the players in the 3-7 range project as starters at best.   Since these are 3rd-tier prospects without star potential, I can't say I'm all that excited about any of them.  I kind of hope we can sucker the 76ers out of okafor.  But fwiw, Murry intrigues me the most of our available options.  He's 19 and can shoot.  Maybe he'd exceed expectations and develop into a significant player.

the okafor deal sounds the best to me


I don't buy the rumor that they can't get a top 5 pick for him

 Ha-ha Global Celtic +1. I have the same condition. If Murray is an unstoppable scorer at the next level and if we don't take him I'll be mad at Ainge for a long time. Take him Danny!

I go through this every year.

the most depressing, is the day after the draft....such a letdown.

I'd be happy with Murray/Bender/Hield.

Disappointed or mad if Danny drafts Brown....Dunn, I could live with.
