Depends if you're trying to evaluate GMs for contract negotiations or drafting.  I'd say no for this particular thought exercise.

Then it has to be Steph Curry, even though there's only 1 year remaining.  Otherwise it would probably be Towns

There are 3 great contracts the Celtics own:
Avery Bradley (2yrs / $8.5M per yr)
Jae Crowder (4yrs / $7M per yr)
Isaiah Thomas (2yrs / $6.5M per yr)

Around the league some are:
Steph Curry (1yr / $12M)
Derrick Favors (2yrs / $11.5M per yr)
Paul George (3yrs / $19M per yr)
Demarcus Cousins (2yrs / $17.5M per yr)

Having 60% of your starting line-up locked in for $22M/yr over multiple years (with no rookie contracts!) has to be the best in the league, right? Especially when you take into consideration that one is an all-star, one is All-NBA Defense, and the other is one of the NBA's most solid two-way players at the wing position.

It's not make or break for this team this offseason, but Danny sure as heck did an amazing job setting our team up for success in the future...and this is coming off of being tied for 3rd in the Eastern Conference - Wow!
