He should have been suspended in the OKC series. He should not have been suspended for this. Poor call by the league and just perpetuates the idea that Lebron is a baby who gets preferential treatment.

Well, they missed a big opportunity to extend the series by rigging game 4, so they had to do something!  ;D

Yeah GS will just come out even more focused to roll.

I expect the Warriors to Win by 20+ now....You'll see Speights and Ezeli go off now.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Can dray still attend the game?

Nope. Reportedly he can't even enter the arena even if GS wins the title that night. I hope GS wins, and the entire team just walks out right away to a nearby location where Green is waiting so they can celebrate with him and rub it in the league's faces.

HAHAHA that would be cool, but it takes guts to do that. You don't have players with guts like that at this time.

I'd much rather he miss five games to start next season than impact a Finals series.  Especially when it's a matter of accumulated points over the entire postseason.

I disagree. If you commit the violation when the stakes are high you should serve the suspension when the stakes are high. I particularly remember the Dallas Lakers Western Conference finals game when Bynum laid out JJ Barea in the last game, and he was suspended five games in the regular season. I disagreed with that because Bynum should have served his suspension in the playoffs the next season because he committed that atrocious foul in a playoff game.

This is dangerous stuff in a 2 2 1 1 1 format. If this turns the game in Cavs favor and they head back home 2-3 anything can happen from there.

Alex Kennedy just wrote this on Twitter:
Quote
Sources: If the Warriors win Game 5 to close out the series Monday, Draymond Green is allowed in arena AFTER the game for title celebration.
Obviously we don't know how legit it is given that he only refers to a "source", but it would be peculiar if they didn't allow him to enter the arena if Warriors end up winning the game.

And Green hit Adams 2 times. Remember, Adams was in pain.
Green never got suspended. Now it's miss LeQueen who is crying under Silver's apron.
Bang!

Looks like Cavs have a better chance to be the first team in NBA history to come back up from 3-1 series deficit and win the finals now that Green is suspended. Assuming the Cavs beat the Warriors at GSW, and then defend home court in Game 6. LeBron will probably pull his inhuman Game 6 2012 ECF in Game 7.

Dirty player getting what is deserved. I don't understand why people don't think the two swings at James aren't a big deal. Sick of this guy's actions. He's a good player, but dirty, plain and simple.

I think it being Lebron and it being an opportunity to extend the finals played into this, but this was the most clearly intentioned swing and you could argue it was as much accumulation as anything else.

GSW better take care of business tomorrow. NBA is out to get them a la Game 6 of the 2002 WCF or the fourth quarter of game 7 of the 2010 NBF. Only way to overcome that is to clobber the heck out of your opponent like game 6 of the 2008 NBAF.

LeBron was obviously not hit in the groin based on his reaction. That or he must have a small one...

That is not a flagrant foul, it's a technical foul.  LeBron instigated the altercation with the take down and step-over, and Green re-acted.  Textbook definition of a situation that normally warrants a double-tech, one assessed to each player.

Had the refs done job their game during the game when this actually happened, and issued the infamous double-tech, nobody says anything further and no suspension happens.

Instead, here we are in a world where Green is improperly suspended for a Finals game, because the league didn't want to look like they keep letting Green get away with nut shots.  Meanwhile, LeBron still instigated the whole matter.

But I don't feel sorry for Green, maybe his teammates, but not Green. Green is a dirty player.  That's the price you pay for crossing the line one too many times.
