The thing is this kid is so skinny, not athletic and would be better suited to being a maestro in an orchestra than the 3rd pick.

I keep forgetting that some people look at an 18 year old kid as a finished product.

Particularly ironic concidering this is thread is about whether to give a max deal to a player who spent years in the d league before maturing into his potential.

I said 16-18. However he's going to get the max and good for him too. For that reason I wouldn't sign him.

I understand some don't like him but he's going to cost you max or close to it to get him (because someone will pay it) so it really doesn't matter.  If you don't offer that you don't get him.
