Instead of drafting Hield with our 3rd pick:
Sign Allen Crabbe
Trade 3rd pick 4 Okafor
Trade AB and IT
4
Jabari and Henson
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWGG0UXX-ZQ
shows Jabari's athleticism in a game^^
Smart
Crabbe
Jabari- he will hit the 3 eventually, green light from 3,
Okafor- same as Jabari, except needs to get jumper 15ft and in, better shape
Henson- He's a late blooming Rudy gobert
This team's stock/trade value would go through the roof after a season. Okafor and jabari will have a much better jumper, and when that happens they will be worth a lot.
Here's a tidbit - real basketball is not like fantasy basketball. That would be, hands down, the worst defensive team in the league. The team would win under 30 games and all of these players would be worth less than it would take to acquire them today.
I thought it was obvious that this was if DA went in a different direction/rebuild. BTW, who is bad defensively? Okafor was a 280 lb rookie. I'll take what I saw from him last year, including the bad job on rotations and defending stretch 4's, because he can transform his body a lot in a year especially since he already has the muscle and legit mass to work with....that's just my opinion.
Have you ever put yourself out on CB with a prediction of a player?
Search function is that way -------------->
Try it!
Then why don't you use the search and get some facts. Please do research me and my predictions, and how I put myself out there to the extreme. The fact that I would need to search you is laughable.
Bet: I'll take guys mocked late in next years draft and you can take any 3(even the top 3) and we will see who should be giving the tidbits/smug little comments. Also I havent changed these 3 and predicted them 2 years ago on here....SEARCH IT
Bam Bam
Thomas Bryant
Dennis Smith Jr
with Jeanne being a project but will be a good NBA asset eventually.
And none of that has anything to do with your earlier absurd post. So let's not...

Let's go back to your *ahem* brilliant idea and look at it again. You advocated a team of:
Smart
Crabbe
Jabari
Okafor
Henson
Do you realize how bad that team would be? Do you have any clue?
1. Defensively, that team would get killed inside. Jabari and Okafor are awful defensive payers. Henson has gotten better from his earlier days but he's still not a great help defender. Needless to say, once the ball got inside teams would have a field day with that squad. Marcus Smart may be such an exceptional defender that je can defend 4 positions,
but he can't defend them all at the same time.
2. That team has no ball handler. It would struggle to get the ball past half court. Of course, given that a couple of these guys are so slow that might help them. After all, once the ball is stolen out of someone's hands at least Okafor and Parker will still be lumbering away in the back court.
3. If it did manage to get the ball over half court, there's no one who can pass the basketball. That team combined averaged 11 assists....per 36 minutes! Do you realize how bad that is? Rondo averaged more assists per 36 than that entire squad. No one on that team is getting an easy layup all year long.
4. That team has no chance of stretching the defense. Crabbe is the only one you'd have to respect outside of 15 feet. None of the others are a worry. Are you going to respect Smart's 25% 3 point game? Parker's 25% 3 point game? Okafor and Henson are so bad at that range they took a whopping 7 whole attempts the entire season. That team would be incredibly easy to defend - just collapse the defense and wait for the inevitable brick or bad pass.
So you think that these guys would be worth more after losing 60 games and their offensive statistics somehow better when they're forced to create every single shot (due to no playmakers) against a sagging defense possession after possession, game after game?
Again, that's the difference between fantasy basketball and the real thing. What you posted was a laughable "fantasy basketball" post that simply couldn't work in the real world under any circumstances.
