The Knicks and Nets both told players they're trying to buy a late 1st / early 2nd round pick.

We certainly have plenty of those, so what would we want from them?

I guess that it would depend on who we draft/trade for/sign in FA....or we could use the asset (s) coming our way from them to help us facilitate a trade for a bigger piece or better fit. More arrows in Danny's quiver.

Either can have #51 for taking on James Young.  Nets have a trade exception to fit him even.

Trade a bunch of picks for future picks that could be better. I'd trade all our none lottery picks for a chance at a future lottery pick.

Thad Young would be a good replacement for Sully.

Afflalo could be useful.

Robin Lopez would be a solid addition.

Not sure if there's anybody else I'd want aside from Melo.

I agree with you just not sure Danny wants to burn his cap space on these guys. As someone said dumping Young on them could help.

Thad for 23
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Thaddeus Young would be worth The 23rd and a 2nd round pick. Great idea.

I think you're misinterpreting that. They want to buy picks, not trade for picks.

Knicks and Nets better pony up

Money is not enough.

Tbh, both of these have nothing I want. And they are not trading  porzingis nor young. No pt

Maybe a team that wants money can swing a deal with us for an asset to sell off to NY/NJ.  Otherwise, wouldn't it just be worth it to draft a stash guy and hope they grow or develop?
