Smart just had his 2nd airball in ten minutes.  So much promise.

Are you seriously still ragging on Smart?  Him and JJ are the only 2 to come out with any energy tonight, how could you have any issue with him?

Down 20 and every other guy on the court is disinterested, Smart is still being aggressive.  Who cares if he airballs a 3 dude, give it a rest.
I know the participation trophy crowd think it's great that Smart tries hard (Good job. Good effort.) but results actually matter

He wasn't the reason we lost tonight.  4-10 for 11 points, 5 boards, 1 assist and 4 steals.  What's so wrong with that stat line in 30 minutes?  When I say trying hard I mean he was still forcing his way to the bucket, and getting there.
What's so wrong about it is this is the playoffs and this doesn't cut it by a long long shot. These are middling stats and that is actually a pretty good offensive stat line for Smart. I mean he's a pg and he got 1 whole assist in a playoff game.  That's what's wrong about it. Now if he'd been drafted last in the first round, then that's not too bad, but he was drafted 6th and people here seem to think he's the next Kobe, without saying it.

That is bad.

People aren't supposed to be wishing we had Bass back because Bass can actually make a shot. People aren't supposed to be wishing so incredibly badly that we had Avery here.  But here we are. Smart has a lot to do with that. A lot.

Haha IT just threw up that shot lol Too little too late, though, I'm afraid.

well, Crowder's done for the year officially although he's been done for a while based on his play the past few weeks

No one made shots. You can't say it's his fault he has 1 assist.

Of course it doesn't cut it. You'd have to be a retard to think it cuts it. But he's not nearly close to the ceiling he has. If he can step up and help the team as a second year player, it's likely he can become more than that.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Turner is awful.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Well the problem is he's been here two years and he's closer to the floor.

ET's usually consistent midrange shot has abandoned him this series, right when we needed it most.

I was screaming for Zeller in the first half---when it was obvious our small ball was having ZERO success.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Right. And here are the results. 6 game series. Lost the last game at home. The Celts were totally dominated in three games.

Smart should be undoubtedly the 2nd best player on the team and he's not by a long shot. And he won't be next year either
