His production is still well below average for the amount of minutes and role he has.

A very useful player in filling holes in our rotation given his flexibility both offensively and defensively. But he doesn't really do anything well

I will be immensely disappointed if we give him a big FA deal.
Yeah, I don't think he will get a big deal. With how he flamed out in Indiana, and wore out his welcome in Indiana, he will realize this is the best place for him and end up giving up money to play here.
This FA cycle is going to be inflated though, given how much Bazemore is going to get I think Turner gets paid too.

Yeah, but Bazemore can shoot.

ET is an enigma. He looks so bad sometimes that I think he is an alien. Get it? "ET?"

ET is like a med you take to counter act the side effects of another med. Like, you take "IT" to boost your pg skills, but it causes defensive liability, so you take "ET" to alleviate that liability. However, the ET brings with it a list of other new issues, such as poor shot selection, bad three point shooting, and horrible form. From there you just have to weigh your pros and cons.

Pro's-

Penetration
Free throw shooting
Ball handling
Plays multiple positions
Versatile game

Con's-

No 3pt range
Cringe-worthy shot selection at times

So, there you have it. The pro's far outweigh the con's, and were getting all that for what 2 million? That is the sticking point for me. I don't want to pay him anymore than what we're giving him now. Well, maybe a slight raise  ;D

But, please fix that shooting form and add some range. It's never too late to practice shooting, ask Crowder.

Truuuuuuuuuth!

Turner has a great coach .   He requires a great coach , one who is smart enough to use him properly .    There are maybe a dozen such coaches. .....then they have to be willing to use him right.   So that eliminates a lot of them ., who want their star point guards handling the ball .

I think he might susceed in Miami .

On a team with a dominate point guard , like CP3 , Wall,  etc ....ET would be lost again.

He just is a bad player without being able to set the play up .   ET has a bunch of weird shots he is good at ......and most all start with HIM initiating HIS own plays.

ET really needs certain types of players around him and a coach that trusts him to handle the ball .

Simular to Rondo , ET has to have the ball to be good.

Agree somewhat, but I would add rebounding & passing to his pros. He has had a few triple doubles.
Cons, I'd add pass selection, if that's a term. Sometime he tries to force passes, and usually at the worst possible time.
Taking everything into consideration, I'd like to see the Celtics resign him, but I believe that will take a considerable raise.
