LOL, I guess we need Smart covering Millsap from now on.

It's weird how smaller guys sometimes guard bigs better. The cure to that is keeping the ball high, which Milsap isn't good at.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

This is what you need at home -- shots falling for suspect shooters.

That right there is Sully's best move.  The fake post-up kick out.

Yes, then getting rebounding position.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Millsap is used to turning and facing slower bigs.  A smaller guy who stands his ground and has quick hands is something he doesn't expect.

Meh, I think it was a solid playoff foul...

If this is a flagrant, the league has gotten much softer than I thought it was.

I don't really see how it makes the game better if we allow players to basically knock guys to the floor and say "Make it at the line, punk."

Especially when a guy is moving at full speed and is already in the air.

Play good defense and get between the man and the basket.

They do keep track of fouls.  You only get so many.

It helps when the guy getting posted is flimsy Mike Muscala.  Not so effective against beats like Millsap and Horford.  Those guys are hard to move.

Lack of AB and KO leaving team very thin.  Hard to keep this pace.  I know Sully unable to do much, but i feel like he's got to make a contribution tonight.

Pffff.

Right, each guy only gets 6 opportunities to cause major injury.  ::)

Especially on a face up and around the rim when you're trying to go up.

I'm tall for your average guy in a pick up game/rec league and it's the case when I play.  There's a lot of times I'd much rather play a guy my height.  But you do have to learn to keep the ball up.

I mean the reality though is that Millsap isn't even much bigger than Smart.  He's a undersized big.

It'll have to be jumpers falling.

Amir has a better chance, I think.

It's too bad Mickey doesn't have more seasoning, would be interesting to see what he could do when they've got their smaller bigs out there.

RJ has pretty good passing instincts from what I've seen, but I literally have no idea what else he can do at this level.  He seems lost, and unlike Young he doesn't have the body to make you hope he can develop into something.
