GOOD Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ING LORD!

Remember when the Celtics had a great defense. Hell, do you remember when they had just a defense in general?!

Honestly, what happened?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

18  25  vs .500 or better Teams, and everyone is surprised?

But they beat Golden State at home!

Heh.

That game was a huge accomplishment, obviously, but yeah, this isn't exactly anything new.  The Celts are good enough to kill bad teams, but have had significantly less success against playoff caliber opponents.

Grande and Max pointed out the Celts have a poor record this year when they don't amass a very large lead at some point in the game.   If they don't step on an opponent early, it doesn't bode well.

Won't fly in the playoffs... Teams looking like a first round exit. Amazing how quickly things change

They deserve the boos. This team failed when they needed to perform most

It is completely classless to boo your own team.

Last two games haven't been close that's the difference. Really does feel like supreme overachiever right now.

Boo them. They deserve it. Never thought I'd say this, but they do. Shameful. Stevens better lay into them at halftime. Screw this.

I've got a feeling that the last part of this season plus the playoffs are going to make me want to go young again and build around the Brooklyn pick, Smart, Rozier, etc.

Announcers mentioned in the beginning that Whiteside is putting up numbers not seen since Shaq. I assume because of the 3.5+ blocks per game along with the double double. I understand he is viewed as a bit of a dinosaur, but it's not like he's a lopez from the block. His mid range and ft percent aren't terrible either. I may be in a minority opinion here, but unless he falls off a cliff he will be worth what he gets.

Then again, this is the same basic squad that got demolished by Cleveland in the 1st round last year.  Amir Johnson is the only meaningful addition.

They've earned it.

At least Smart is getting to the rim, though he's not really finishing.
