  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Watching the Warriors, I hope Danny doesn't trade a Brookyln pick for pretty much anyone.  There's no beating that team for a couple of years.
Let's say the Celtics sign Durant. I'm trying to think which other max free agent they could acquire, and which player they could trade the Brooklyn pick for, assuming it's top 2, that would make them a good match-up for Golden State. Is it possible?

His name is Jimmy Butler.
He guards Klay Thompson and makes Klay Thompson guard him.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Home game against Memphis won't be a cakewalk as we recall their last meeting they barely got by them.

Would be funny if the Grizzlies play spoiler and halt their record at 72-10! And besides, they're half a game behind Portland who wants to get that #5 seed perhaps.

And wow, ESPN just took down Kobe's final game and replaced it with Grizzlies-Warriors.

Now I really hope Memphis beat the Warriors to silence their bandwagon fans up. And Kobe losing his final game ever.  ;D

HAHAHA, awesome, Kobe coming up short of Jordan yet again, his long-awaited final farewell trumped by the magnitude of a Jordan record, a team record Kobe's teams never threatened, being threatened now by a team with a player legitimately being talked about as having the best individual regular season ever, a discussion Kobe has never been part of, all while Kobe's team is a den of despair and ugliness, among the ugliest things being Kobe's skills which deteriorated in an embarrassing way Jordan's never did. Beautiful. Can't wait for Kobe to try being a GM/owner someday, too, if his pattern of being an inferior Jordan knockoff continues, lol.

That's beautiful.  They're not even putting it on ESPN2 or anything?  Love it.  Au revoir Kobe, you'll have to put the capper on the worst season in team history without a national TV audience dozing off in front of yet another blowout.   ;D

EDIT:  Aww, they did put in on ESPN2.  Oh well, I won't be watching.

Funny you should say that. We just beat them not that long ago.

Beating them once and beating them 4 out of 7 times are very different tasks.

GS doesn't have a lot of size, and we are a very good perimeter defending team, which is why we seem to match up well with them, relative to our respective records.
